GTCFDatabaseUpdate[database]
reads the database, adds a new parameter set and stores the database.

  • Radial expectation values needed for the calculation of crystal field parameters can be stored into databases. GTCFDatabaseInfo can be used to print the contents of a chosen database.
  • The input of the new parameter set is done interactively. Step by step the following information will be asked:
  • 1. Name of database entry
  • 2. Reference
  • 3.
  • 4.
  • 5.
  • 6.
  • The database has to have the extension ".parm".
