GTInstallAxis[{label,direction}]
installs symmetry elements with respect to a given rotation axis denoted by a label and defined by a direction in Cartesian coordinates.

  • Within the GTPack the installed symmetry elements are saved within the lists elm, elmo2, elmSU2, elmSU2xS, elmown.
  • All installed axes are saved within the list axeslist.
  • The installation of symmetry elements is necessary to guarantee a symbolic calculation.
  • The following option can be given:
  • GOVerboseTrueControls the output of additional information
